Someone had a birthday!!!

Cory turned 25 on April 25th, and boy did we have a happening time! The day started out with a four-wheeler ride up the mountains. We had planned to spread out a blanket and enjoy a lovely picnic; however, due to inclement weather we stuffed the sandwiches down our throats while driving away.

Next, he opened up his presents: a lovely striped shirt and killer shades!

Then, we ventured to the big city (aka Cedar City) for a lovely fine dining experience at an exquisite restaurant, you might have heard of it, Chili’s Bar and Restaurant.

Finally, the night ended with some delectable cheesecake (sorry Harriet Home-maker, but this one was store bought)!

I love you baby! You’re the man for me, and I don’t know what or where I’d be without you! MUAH! MUAH! MUAH! MUAH! MUAH! MUAH! MUAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, and on a different note: My sister-in-law Lexi had a birthday on May 3rd, so I made her this scrumptious birthday cookie! (I just wanted to post it cause I think it turned out kind of cool!)

So maybe I’m just totally out of the loop (probably due to the fact that we live in PAROWAN), either way: I just discovered the death of Domino magazine! I do not know how to cope! This magazine was the first magazine I truly feel in love with; it was my inspiration, my stimulation, my oxygen, my warm cookie on a rainy day and the thing I hoped my husband would bring home on days when he needed to do some kissing up!

Since leaving my parent’s home in Encinitas, I have never lived anywhere for more than nine months. This May Cory and I are planning to move to a house in Cedar where we plan to stay for two years- at which time we will be venturing out to dental school. Once settled in our new home, Cory promised he would allow me to subscribe to Domino…AND NOW THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!

Hello all!!! This last week I had a couple days off work for Spring break, so Cory and I ventured down to Lake Mead where we met up with my dad for a little lake time. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly, but we did manage to get in a little tourist time! (This was Cory’s first time at the Hoover Dam and wow was he excited; what a little traveler!)

After the Hoover Dam blew our minds, we headed down to spend Easter day with my familiy in Encinitas. Sorry there's not more pictures of everyone; I'm no Grandma Jane! (The only pictures taken of Cory on Easter day, his hair looks funky in, and I promised him I wouldn't post any of them.)
